Martino has a relevant experience on building mechanical systems in all the different phases of the project implementation from the conceptual phase to the commissioning operations. His experience includes residential, commercial, institutional, municipal, industrial, and recreational projects. Martino has deep interest in sustainable solutions and strongly believes that the success of a project relies mostly on the collaborative effort between the stakeholders. Martino has also led projects for combined heat and power systems for residential, commercial and industrial facilities, using both renewable and non-renewable resources.
Martino is experienced both in compulsory sustainable requirements for buildings, as the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings, and voluntary certification protocols (LEED®). He has acquired a relevant experience in process ancillary services like superheated water, steam, diathermic oil, compressed air plants, heat exchange processes and energy use optimization in production sites.
Martino is actively engaged with international technical societies such as ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers), ASPE (American Society of Plumbing Engineers) and CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers).
