Tim Hortons is the largest Canadian fast-service food chain with restaurants nationwide, in the USA and in the Persian Gulf.
Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical and electrical permit and construction documents for the heating, ventilation, plumbing and electrical designs for various Tim Hortons restaurants located throughout British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
The building mechanical systems consisted of gas fired rooftop air handling units with associated ductwork distribution. Plumbing services were distributed to all tenant fixtures and equipment from capped services in the tenant space. Domestic hot water is generated by high efficiency domestic hot water tanks.
Electrical distribution was designed from the base building service panel location and distributed to all new tenant equipment and fixtures. Lighting design was provided by a specialty lighting consultant and WE provided power distribution and switching for lighting locations. AV and Communications back-bone was provided by others while WE provided rough-in designs to device locations through-out the space. WE also provided construction field review services during the construction period along with associated field review reports.
