Brett graduated from the Architectural and Engineering Technology Program (ARET) at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. The three-year program emphasized the design processes in building, civil and mechanical technologies, involving design projects for building structures, subdivisions, municipal services, and electrical, plumbing, lighting and HVAC systems. Brett found he had a passion for the Electrical and Mechanical Design portion of the program and gained further experience as a Co-Student with Williams Engineering Abbotsford Branch during the summer of 2018. Brett started his journey towards becoming a Design Technician in the early years of high school, where he became proficient in AutoCAD, he is excited that he has finally reached his goal.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys spending time with friends, playing with his dogs Vince and Leo, indoor rock climbing, ziplining, testing his skills at escape rooms and video games. He also enjoys traveling with family and friends, preferably on a cruise ship.
