Dale graduated from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology program at BCIT. He took the Electrical Power and Industrial Control option, graduating with distinction.

In his spare time, Dale enjoys spending time with friends, playing sports, watching sports, and video games. He also enjoys getting involved with the Canucks Autism Network where he takes his younger brother to his specialized activities.
