Williams Engineering (WE) provided building envelope consulting engineering services for this development. WE provided reviews of the building envelope and roofing detail drawings provided by FAAS and completed a report with comments and recommendations for the design and construction of these systems. Building envelope, roofing system and foundation waterproofing reviews were completed during the construction phase of the project. The site reviews included the preparation and distribution of site visit reports to the complete construction team to ensure any concerns were promptly attended to. Whole-building energy modelling services were also provided by WE’s team to optimize the overall energy performance of the structure and ensure compliance with NECB. These services included a preliminary energy model for the building permit submission, project-specific guidance for energy efficiency measures and providing the required documentation to demonstrate NECB compliance.
