Telford Mews at Leduc Village is a stunning seniors independent living facility in Leduc, Alberta. The facility features 133 suites throughout six storeys. The facility includes plenty of onsite amenities, including a family restaurant, games area, pub, golf simulator and movie room, pool, fitness studio, salon, spa and a family gathering space. A fenced yard and patio are provided for residents to enjoy the outdoor space and surface parking, and carports are available for family members and visitors.
Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical engineering consulting services for the construction of Telford Mews. Mechanical designs for the schematic design, design development, working drawings and construction services were completed by WE over the two-year project schedule. Plumbing systems included the selection of fixtures, risers and chasers, schematics and riser diagrams. Designs for the heating and ventilation systems were provided and included calculating ventilation rates, piping schematics, sizing and locations of the required air handling equipment. WE’s mechanical designs were closely coordinated with the project’s pool and kitchen consultants.
With an ideal location close to Corinthia Park and the Leduc Community Hospital, this building allows residents to live independently while having access to a variety of services in a home designed for their specific needs. Telford Mews is an excellent addition to the City of Leduc and provides the necessary space to support the City’s senior community.
