The recipient of the 2024/2025 Williams Engineering Scholarship Award recipient is Kyla Fald!
Kyla is a student in the Mechanical Engineering Co-op Program at the University of Alberta. In addition, she is one of the executives of the Indigenous in STEM Students Association.
Each year, the Williams Engineering Award is allotted to a female student with good academic standing that demonstrates examples of leadership, community involvement, volunteer activities and extracurricular activities.
Our teammates Daveed Henriquez and Katia Avalos had the pleasure of sitting down with Kyla to discuss her future plans and learn more about her. Congratulations to Kyla on her incredible achievements so far, we can’t wait to watch her grow into an incredible force within the engineering community!
