1741 & 1745 Victoria Street

Now home to a local veterinary clinic and tattoo shop, this project located in Prince George, British Columbia included a base building renovation to a 4,400 square foot retail development. The existing space was renovated to accommodate three new commercial units. A fresh façade upgrade and wall-mounted site lighting were also completed to modernize the exterior of the building.

Performing as the electrical engineering consultant on the complete renovation of this commercial space, Williams Engineering Canada (WEC) provided designs for the schematic, design development, building permit, tender and IFC stages of the project. Working closely with the Owner and the Architect, complete drawings for power, communications, lighting and life safety systems were produced by WEC, as well as rough-in requirements for security and intrusion alarm telephone systems. All onsite electrical and lighting systems were designed to comply with Energy Efficiency requirement of the BC Building Code.

As each commercial tenant is unique, a customized design approach with extensive experience in understanding base building systems is essential. With a fresh appearance and updated interiors, this improved retail building provides an opportunity for tenants to attract new customers and expand their reach within the community.
