Creekview Park – Multi-Family Development

The Creekview Park Multi-Family project is a new development, currently under construction located in SW Calgary, Alberta. The project will be comprised of three, 4-storey, wood-framed low-rise buildings containing a total of 188 residential units.

Williams Engineering (WE) were retained to provide the building envelope and energy modeling engineering consulting services for the Creekview Multi-Family development. Our building science team will deliver detailed design reviews of the building envelope and roofing systems at the 60% and 90% completion stages. This includes written reports and drawing mark-ups. We are also conducting a full review of all building envelope-related shop drawings to confirm suitability and constructability.

Throughout the construction phase, our team is performing regular site reviews with a focus on air barrier detailing, construction joints, tie-ins between systems, and overall workmanship. In addition, comprehensive roofing system site reviews are being provided, with special attention being paid to the integration of parapets, joints, and envelope interfaces to ensure a high-performance, durable assembly.

Lastly, our team provided energy modelling services which included a review of the addition drawings to determine compliance targets. The development of a reference building model is being completed to compare relative energy performance of the anticipated design to the applicable benchmark. The modelling of overall energy performance will be completed as per the 2020 National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB 2020).

This project is being completed alongside Brad Remington Homes, Casola Koppe Architects, Cornerstone Builders, TLJ Engineering Consultants Ltd., Stantec, and Arquiecos!
