Anna graduated from NAIT in 2022 with a Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting.
In 2007 Anna spend a year in a small francophone community close to Winnipeg, MB. She attended a French school and was living with an English host family. Since then, she has always felt more at home in Canada than in Germany. After finishing high school back in her home country, Germany, she worked as Management Assistant for Freight Forwarding and Logistic Services for DHL. Although having a steady job she decided to return to Canada in 2017 for a work and travel year. She worked at the Blachford Lake Lodge close to Yellowknife as well as on various farms across Canada expanding her skillset (repair work, fencing, irrigation system maintenance/operation, handling sled dogs, vaccination, tagging and delivering animals).
After her Visa expired in 2018 she went back to Germany and worked as an Administrative Office Assistant before pursuing her dream of finally making Canada her new home. She received her Permanent Residency in 2024.
Anna always loved numbers, so she is thankful to have had the chance to study Accounting and, in addition, gain valuable Bookkeeping experience throughout the jobs she had. Her work allowed her to assist a diversity of companies of various sizes and structures with their full cycle bookkeeping and accounting tasks. In her free time Anna enjoys being physically active either outdoors or in the gym. She loves travelling, reading, bowling, playing ping pong as well as DIY projects e.g. wood working, painting/drawing, crafting and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity or the City of Edmonton Zoo. She embraces trying different/new things (e.g. welding course at NAIT).
She is thankful for being part of the WE team and looks forward to further develop her professional skills and relationships and ‘brighten lives’.
