Innes has twenty-five years of experience as a sustainability consultant. He specializes in energy, durability, and climate resilience. Combining detailed technical and financial expertise with strategic management capabilities, Innes works with clients to define and achieve organizational goals around sustainability. Innes is a sustainability consultant at the Vancouver Office of Williams Engineering. In this capacity, Innes is involved in multi-disciplinary assignments that span technical, policy, and management objectives. In addition to his sustainability consulting, Innes is a Building Envelope Professional and provides consulting to enhance the durability and efficiency of building enclosures. Innes is a professional engineer with master’s degrees in both mechanical engineering and environmental studies.

Innes is a volunteer firefighter and in his spare time, he can be found responding to fire, rescue, and medical incidents.
