The Movember movement is driven by the common goal of changing the face of men’s health. Movember has cultivated a dedicated community with participants in 21 countries and over 6.8 million supporters worldwide since its inception in 2003. Movember aims to address the men’s health crisis by funding international projects that create long-term impact in the three areas of men’s health that need the most support: mental health and suicide prevention, testicular cancer and prostate cancer.
This year, Williams Engineering raised a combined total of $5,676, significantly surpassing our goal of $2,500!
Special recognition goes to our teammate, Matt Fenwick, who raised an incredible $1265 this Movember. His motivation comes from the loss of his father-in-law from prostate cancer. He was robbed of years and years of good times and cost his grandchildren the chance to grow up with him around. This year, Matt did Movember with his brother-in-law, son, and colleagues to raise money to fight prostate cancer, so that fewer grandfathers miss their golden years.
The rest of the WE Movember team includes: Daveed Henriquez, Adam Huesken, Bryan Yawney, Jim Gilliland, Logan Grotkowski, Josh Fenwick, Ben Rajewski, Monique Moss, Jessica Heine, Dylan Bergeron & Madison Kuzma.
This team’s unwavering support of the Movember movement inspires the change and efforts necessary to make a significant difference in our communities. Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout this journey.
