5300 Qulliq Court Mixed-Use

Located on the lower plateau at 5300 Qulliq Court, a new, five-storey mixed-use commercial and residential building has recently completed construction. The building includes roughly 20,000 square feet over two storeys of commercial space. The space is leased to provide new corporate head offices for Qikiqtaaluk Corporation, NCC Investment Group and Nunasi Corporation. Twenty-two residential units are also featured in the remaining three storeys above.

Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical and electrical consulting engineering services for this Design-Build project. Electrical engineering services include designs for the main building power system, distribution system, lighting, emergency power, security infrastructure and fire alarms. Plumbing systems and service designs for the residential plumbing fixtures and roof drainage are  included in WE’s mechanical scope. Heating and ventilation systems were designed to address high occupant loads and include supplemental ventilation systems for the storage and electrical rooms.

This new mixed-use building provides the additional space necessary for each office tenant to continue growing their evolving teams. With optimized mechanical and electrical systems, the corporate and residential tenants of this development are provided with bright spaces that can effectively meet each of their unique needs.
