In the heart of Calgary’s new master-planned University District, Aria consists of a five-storey residential building with 288 units, retail space and a childcare facility. Performing alongside NORR Architects, Williams Engineering (WE) provided building envelope consulting services during the construction of the apartment building. These services included a comprehensive review of the building envelope and roofing detail drawings by the Architect as well as a written report outlining WE’s recommendations and comments on the design. Site review reports were distributed to the project team by WE, detailing the building envelope and roofing elements observed on-site with progress updates, comments, recommendations and clarifications provided as required.
