The Residences at Nobel Park

Constructed in the award-winning community of Wesbrook Village in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Residences at Nobel Park is a stunning collection of townhomes and condominiums on the south side of the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Vancouver campus. Designed to capture beautiful views of the surrounding tree-lined green spaces and parks, this modern development is only minutes away from an abundance of amenities and services, including the village square, various restaurants and several boutique-style shops. In addition to convenient access to UBC’s academic and recreational opportunities, a variety of other primary and secondary institutions are also located nearby. These institutions include West Point Grey Academy, St. George’s School and University Hill Secondary School.

Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical engineering consulting services for the construction of this residential development. The project consisted of 133 high-rise condominium apartment units within a 14-storey building, 87 units within a five-storey concrete building and 34 townhome units within a three-storey concrete building.  The plumbing system, designed by WE, included sanitary drainage, roof and footing drainage and domestic hot and cold water systems. WE’s mechanical team also provided designs for the heating, ventilation and air condition systems for all residential suites, parkade and common areas. In addition, the coordination of site services and connections to municipal sanitary, storm, gas and water services was completed by WE.

The Residences at Nobel Park provide refreshingly quick access to plenty of the community’s most notable amenities and several of the province’s best educational establishments. With apartment and townhome options for buyers, this collection of buildings is a remarkable and unique residential addition to the growing community of Wesbrook Village.
