Frog Lake Equine Centre
Williams Engineering was retained by Reimagine Architects to provide complete mechanical engineering consulting services for this project. Our scope includes the design of all building plumbing, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, as well as the implementation of a Building Management System (BMS) for digital monitoring and control of dynamic building functions.
UBC Okanagan – Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Innovation Building (x̌əl sic snpax̌nwixʷtn)
Located at the UBCO Campus in Kelowna, the Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Innovation (ICI) Building (x̌əl sic snpax̌nwixʷtn) is currently being constructed to facilitate essential research and academic programming. Williams Engineering is providing the building envelope consulting engineering services for this development.
Peter Lougheed Centre – Emergency Department Renovations
Following the completion of the Medical Devise Repurposing Department (MDRD) renovations in 2022, Williams Engineering (WE) has provided structural engineering design and construction phase services for various additional renovations to the Peter Lougheed Centre.
Cochrane Protective Services Building
The new, 43,000 sqft Cochrane Protective Services Building, was built and opened in 2023. Located in the Heartland community of Cochrane, Alberta, the facility is efficient, safe and high functioning. It includes space for Victim Services and an area for an additional expansion in the future.
Beaver Lake Cree Nation High School and Resource Centre
We are proud to be working alongside Archiasmo Architectural Works Limited on a new K-12 school for Beaver Lake Cree Nation. The opportunity to collaborate with the project team on the first Net Zero school in Alberta is deeply gratifying and we are excited to contribute our skills and innovation to bring the project’s vision to life.
Calgary Board of Education (CBE) – IT Closet Remediation at 27 Schools
Our team acted as the Prime Consultant and provided the electrical engineering services for the remediation of IT closets at numerous Calgary Board of Education (CBE) school sites. This project involved our services for the design, installation, and testing for the remediation of 48 IT closets in 27 schools between 2021 and 2024.
Foothills Country Hospice Expansion
Foothills Country Hospice is a care facility that provides bereavement support and grief counseling. Spanning 13,500 square feet, the hospice is situated 1.5 km north of Okotoks on an 8-acre property, offering stunning views of the mountains. This project involves the construction of a two-story wood-frame building to expand the available residential hospice space.
Pond Inlet Women’s Shelter
Williams Engineering (WE) provided our mechanical and electrical engineering services for the Pond Inlet Women’s Shelter renovation project.
Calgary Board of Education (CBE) – Solar Upgrades to 14 Schools
Williams Engineering (WE) were retained as a Prime Consultant to provide our electrical and structural engineering consulting services during the duration of this project, from site selection, technical feasibility, system design, regulatory compliance, procurement, construction to commissioning.
NAIT G005A-G011C Lab Reno
Williams Engineering (WE) provided the electrical and mechanical engineering services for this renovation. Modifications and reconfigurations to existing infrastructure that support the abrasive cut-off saws were completed, along with updates to the cabinetry, the existing island area, lighting fixtures and diffusers. Relocation to the gas cylinder and the sink area were also completed.
