Elizabeth is a five-storey condo development located in the Cambie Corridor in Vancouver, British Columbia. The building has a total of 41 units and was designed as a high-end boutique style condominium. The building is situated in an incredible location for every lifestyle as it is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown, the Vancouver International Airport and the Canada Line SkyTrain, making amenities easily accessible.
Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical schematic design, design development, building permit, and construction documents for the heating, ventilation and plumbing design of the Elizabeth. The building’s heating system is a high efficiency hot water boiler plant, which produces low temperature hot water to allow for future connectivity to a district energy system. The boiler plant provides all the heating and domestic hot water needs for the entire building. The suites are heated with low temperature baseboard radiators. Corridor ventilation was provided on every level and individual unit. Ventilation is achieved through the use of heat recovery ventilators in each suite. The plumbing design utilizes low flow water conserving fixtures, and the building is fully sprinklered to NFPA 13.
With its LEED® Gold rating and modern curb appeal, Elizabeth asserts itself as a well-regarded and sustainably designed property in the Cambie Corridor and surrounding area.
