Fulton House

Located in the heart of Burnaby’s community of Brentwood, Fulton House is a newly constructed, 246,000sq. ft. 41-storey residential tower with 303 one- and two-bedroom suites with access to a wide variety of resort-inspired amenities. This modern development includes a block of three-storey city homes, a five-storey parking garage with three stories of below-grade parking and two-storeys of above grade covered parking, and a large, landscaped podium area to the north of the main tower. A stunning addition to the City’s skyline, Fulton House was thoughtfully designed to incorporate as much natural light and ambience as possible.

Partnering with Polygon Group and Buttjes Architecture, Williams Engineering (WE) provided the mechanical design and working drawings for both the residential area and sales centre of this development. This mechanical design included energy recovery ventilators combined with electric baseboard heat to each residential suite and split system heat pumps to provide heating and cooling to amenity spaces and common areas. Penthouse suites were equipped with ventilation, heating, and air conditioning through packaged rooftop AC units WE provided seamless coordination with the landscape consultant and architect to provide podium drainage and mechanical services.

These residential units contain various sophisticated features, including smart kitchens,  heightened ceilings, recessed ensuite lighting and soaker tubs with polished chrome fixtures. Occupants of the Fulton House enjoy access to a private swimming pool and hot tub, yoga studio, fitness centre and expansive green space. Brentwood Mall is conveniently located just a few blocks away, in addition to the newly constructed Whole Foods Market and access to the SkyTrain network for a quick and easy commute into downtown Vancouver.

WEC’s innovative design approach made a strong contribution to the success of this high-rise project, from the preliminary design stage through to the end of construction. Fulton House’s unique combination of inspired, meticulous design and elegant aesthetic help elevate the City of Burnaby, and the development is now ready to add an influx of new residents to Brentwood’s community.
