Williams Engineering (WE) provided building envelope consulting engineering services and energy modelling services for this development. WE provided a written report detailing recommendations and comments regarding the building envelope and roofing systems after a review of the architectural drawings and specifications. Energy modelling for the building was completed by WE to demonstrate compliance with current NECB requirements. The preparation of the whole-building energy performance path included a review of the available drawings and documentation and preparing of a preliminary energy model for the building permit application. Project-specific guidance for additional energy efficiency measures was provided to meet energy performance targets. Site visits were completed during construction to review progress being made onsite and the installation of building envelope elements, the roofing system and foundation waterproofing.
