Williams Engineering (WE) is currently providing mechanical engineering consulting services on this 31-storey mixed-use development that includes roughly 212,950 square feet of residential units, 10,880 square feet of commercial space and five levels of underground parkade space. The mechanical design provided by WE includes the plumbing systems including drainage, water distribution and natural gas systems, emergency generator ventilation systems, heating and ventilation systems for all residential suites and retail space and supplemental ventilation systems for storage rooms, electrical rooms and the 155,000 square foot parkade. In addition, specific high-rise smoke control requirements and measures were included in WE’s mechanical drawings.

Levels three to seven of the Meridian are rental units, while levels eight to thirty-one are available for purchase, making this high-rise building uniquely fit for both renters and buyers.  Sophisticated outdoor and indoor amenities are designed to bring residents together in spaces to work, entertain and gather.
