Offering spacious one, two- and three-bedroom apartments in addition to individual townhome units, Rockyview Place is a newly constructed rental development located in the heart of Cranbrook, British Columbia. Each of the pet-friendly suites and townhomes features air conditioning, in-suite laundry and access to various on-site amenities. Amenities include a dog run and wash, playground and on-site management and maintenance teams.
Williams Engineering (WE) completed electrical and mechanical consulting engineering services on the construction of the four four-storey, 63-unit apartment buildings and ten townhome buildings. Coordination of site services and connection to utilities were included in WE’s design. Our team’s mechanical design included plumbing systems and heating and ventilation systems for all common, service and storage areas, in addition to identifying the heating requirements for areas designed to be heated by electric baseboards. The electrical design for the residential suites included receptacle distribution, residential suite lighting with a single light fixture per room, rough-in requirements for security, telephone, television and data systems.
An idyllic residential option for young families, Rockyview Place, was conveniently constructed within walking distance of both a middle school and an elementary school in addition to plenty of parks and playgrounds. With its population steadily increasing, Cranbrook is quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing communities and economies in British Columbia, furthering the need for sustainable and affordable multi-family development options within Cranbrook the surrounding area.
