Union Park

Located in the desirable community of Willoughby in Langley, British Columbia, Union Park is a five-building collection of apartment homes uniquely inspired by iconic east-coast architecture. Residents enjoy exclusive access to an 85,000 square-foot private park and the Union Club, a 12,000 square-foot amenity facility with a large outdoor pool and hot tub, indoor basketball court and several lounges to host events of any size in. The nearby Willoughby Shopping Centre offers over 150 shops and services and close access to the highway, providing easy travel to the rest of the Lower Mainland.

Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical engineering consulting services for  this residential development. Domestic hot water is provided by central gas-fired water heaters in each building with distribution and recirculation piping systems. The residential units are heated using electrical baseboards, and ventilation for the common areas is provided by gas-fired roof-mounted makeup air units. Ventilation for the residential suites utilize bathroom exhaust fans and passive intakes through the wills. WE provided basic construction administration services and signed and sealed building permits and construction drawings in addition to BCBC Mechanical Letters of Assurance for the permit submission package.

Union Park is the ideal community for families and individuals to thrive and grow, with abundant space to meet neighbours and celebrate life’s milestones. As the population of Langley is expected to double by 2040, Union Park is an excellent addition to the evolving community.
