The Practice of Regenerative Design

As part of our commitment to making a positive impact on our communities, the Williams Engineering (WE) team participated in a lunch and learn this week on the Practice of Regenerative Design in the Buildings Industry. Presented by Genan Hamad, a Ph.D student and sustainability intern through the University of Alberta’s Adaptation Resilience Training (ART) Program, this presentation covered a range of topics, including how regenerative design can mitigate climate change challenges, the roles and responsibilities of regenerative design and how designers can apply these concepts to buildings infrastructure projects.
