Jasper Place Library

After 25 years since its last major renovation, the Jasper Place Library in Edmonton, Alberta, was in need of a fresh new look. The hard facade of faded red and brown bricks had long outgrown this west-end community that has been working so hard to revitalize itself but still maintain its old-style charm and history.

Meadows Community Recreation Centre and Library

The Meadows Community Recreation Centre and Library is a 20,900-square-metre facility which includes an aquatic complex, a twin-sheet ice arena, a gymnasium, a two-level fitness area with an indoor track, community multipurpose rooms, and a 1400-square-metre space for the Edmonton Public Library.
Yellowknife Multiplex

Williams Engineering (WE) provided significant consulting services for the Yellowknife Multiplex, which houses a mixture of gymnasiums, gymnastics facilities, ice arenas, and shower rooms for each activity, totalling 9,523 square metres.
Mill Woods Library, Seniors, and Multicultural Facility

The striking new Mill Woods Library, Seniors and Multicultural Facility is a two-storey, dual-functioning facility that consists of over 50,000 square feet of total floor area.
P3 Schools

To support the recent population increase in Alberta, 18 new schools were constructed in Edmonton and Calgary. Williams Engineering (WE) designed six different school models that were adapted for all 18 projects.
Stanton Territorial Hospital

Repsol Sports Centre (Talisman Centre)

The Repsol Sports Centre or formally known as the Talisman Centre, built in 1983, spans approximately 25,000 square feet of cardio and weight training space, has an Olympic calibre dive tank, a 200-metre running track, a steam room, and an on-site cafe.
Tuktoyaktuk Air Terminal Building

Williams Engineering (WE) provided structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering and consulting for a new air terminal named the Tuktoyaktuk Air Terminal with Nadji Architects and the Government of the Northwest Territories.
Yellowknife City Hall Lobby and Council Chambers

Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical, electrical and structural engineering services for the renovations of Yellowknife’s City Hall lobby, Council Chamber, and reception area to the Mayor’s office. Yellowknife’s City Hall is centrally located in the downtown core along Frame Lake.
SMART Technologies Inc.

The project for SMART Technologies Inc. involved the research, design, and manufacturing of telecommunications equipment. Williams Engineering (WE) worked with GEC Architecture on this 27,000 m2 complex at the University of Calgary Research Park.
Smashburger

Williams Engineering (WE) partnered with CMA Architecture on build a new Smashburger facility located in the McKenzie Towne Centre neighbourhood in Calgary, Alberta. WE provided mechanical and electrical consulting engineering services to renovate the existing space into the franchise restaurant.
