Northgate Transit Centre
Northgate Transit Centre is a busy bus terminal servicing thousands of commuters daily. Williams Engineering participated in the replacement of the terminal that features expanded indoor waiting areas, new public and ETS driver washrooms, a security office, and a new leasable kiosk space.
P3 Schools
To support the recent population increase in Alberta, 18 new schools were constructed in Edmonton and Calgary. Williams Engineering (WE) designed six different school models that were adapted for all 18 projects.
Stanton Territorial Hospital
Williams Engineering (WE) provided consulting engineering services for the Stanton Territorial Hospital Upgrades in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
Surrey Memorial Hospital Parkade and BC Ambulance Station
Williams Engineering (WE) completed the mechanical design and construction administration for the Surrey Memorial Hospital parkade and B.C. ambulance station, which included ventilation, drainage, and fire protection.
Repsol Sports Centre (Talisman Centre)
The Repsol Sports Centre or formally known as the Talisman Centre, built in 1983, spans approximately 25,000 square feet of cardio and weight training space, has an Olympic calibre dive tank, a 200-metre running track, a steam room, and an on-site cafe.
Tuktoyaktuk Air Terminal Building
Williams Engineering (WE) provided structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering and consulting for a new air terminal named the Tuktoyaktuk Air Terminal with Nadji Architects and the Government of the Northwest Territories.
University of Lethbridge Aquatic Research Lab
Williams Engineering acted as the prime consultant and supplied mechanical engineering services for a $1.2 million laboratory space fit-up at the University of Lethbridge.
Vernon Jubilee Hospital
Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical engineering consulting for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Inpatient Bed Project. The Vernon Jubilee Hospital plays a critical role in the delivery of acute care, as well as servicing the health care needs of its community and surrounding areas.
Yellowknife City Hall Lobby and Council Chambers
Williams Engineering (WE) provided mechanical, electrical and structural engineering services for the renovations of Yellowknife’s City Hall lobby, Council Chamber, and reception area to the Mayor’s office. Yellowknife’s City Hall is centrally located in the downtown core along Frame Lake.
Eastgate Environment Canada Offices
The Eastgate Environment Canada office, located in southeast Edmonton, Alberta, is a remarkable LEED® Gold Certified three-storey structure with approximately 77,920 square feet of suburban office development space and a Public Works and Government Services Centre tenant fit-up area which includes a data centre.
Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
This $21 million project consisted of redeveloping the existing art gallery and building a bold and innovative addition. The total renovation of the existing space was 2200 square metres, and the new addition contains 1300 square metres.
Artists For Kids Gallery and Education Services Centre
Artists for Kids (AFK) was established in 1989 by the North Vancouver School District, with support from various Canadian artists. Located at the Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art, AFK’s mission is to build an art education legacy for the children of British Columbia through the sale of art prints.
